At Bazardier and the LM Group, our passion for cooking and the richness of our terroir make us vibrate. It is with immense pride that we participated in the recent inter-island culinary competition of the Christian Antou Hotel School in Saint-Paul, a unique event bringing together young talents from Réunion and Mauritius.
This challenge was at the heart of the plant week, organized from April 13 to 18, 2026. This event, dedicated to tourism and gastronomy professions, proposed a series of educational actions aimed at highlighting local know-how through a competitive and stimulating format.
The goal ? To encourage creativity, teamwork and the pursuit of excellence among the professionals of tomorrow.
Bazardier at the heart of the plate and the jury
To enhance their creations, the candidates took on the challenge of integrating Bazardier products into their recipes. The LM Group also had the honor of sitting on the official jury to assess the visual aspect, taste control and respect for timing.
And to congratulate the winners, we gave them generous baskets filled with our products.
The word of our Sales Director
Present on site for the event, our sales director emerged conquered and inspired by this experience: “This competition allowed me to make magnificent encounters with chefs from Réunion and to discover new culinary talents from overseas. I was able to measure all the technicality and requirement of this beautiful profession.”
On the road to the future of popular gastronomy
A big congratulations to all the candidates for their creativity and to Antou High School for this impeccable organization. By participating in this week of promotion of Reunion Island cuisine and service, we reaffirm what is part of our DNA: supporting the youth and gastronomy of the Indian Ocean. The next generation is largely assured!
