It is always a privileged moment for us, at LM, to immerse ourselves in the heart of what makes our island rich: its agriculture and its producers. This Saturday, June 26, we had the great pleasure of being invited by SICATR to its Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly.
Every year, this event is a genuine gathering for the SICATR family. It is the meeting where all the cooperative’s producers come together to review the past year, discuss challenges and successes, and look to the future. For us, attending these key moments is essential. It is an opportunity to take the pulse of our local agriculture, understand the issues facing our partners, and strengthen the bonds that unite us.
We were particularly pleased to welcome the new members of the cooperative. Their arrival is a strong sign of the sector’s vitality and the continued commitment of young talents or experienced farmers to our land. It is by supporting this new energy that we collectively build the future of Réunion’s agriculture.
Sharing this friendly moment with all the producers was a true pleasure. These informal exchanges are invaluable for solidifying our partnerships, hearing feedback from the field, and strengthening this collaboration, which allows us to offer you fruits and vegetables that are always fresher and of higher quality.
At LM, we are proud of this relationship of trust and proximity with our farmers. It is together that we promote local “péi” – know-how and contribute to the vitality of our local economy.
