The Réunion Mushroom Farm : A Local Response to Demand
Until now, a large portion of the fresh mushrooms consumed on the island were imported. Based on this observation and our desire to promote local resources, we decided to support and invest in a modern, local mushroom farm. This ambitious project allows us to offer the people of Réunion fresh mushrooms, harvested at maturity and available through a short supply chain. This is one step further toward food self-sufficiency and reducing our carbon footprint.

The unique feature of this mushroom farm lies in its technological innovation. The building was designed to perfectly recreate and control the ideal growing conditions for mushrooms, which typically require specific humidity and stable temperature. Thanks to cutting-edge systems, the environment is regulated with great precision, allowing for optimal cultivation throughout the year. This advanced technology ensures a regular production of high-quality mushrooms, without depending on external climatic variations.
